We can't wait to Meet you!

Preparing for our Upcoming Retreat and Training

TRAVEL INFORMATION

  • Americans do not need a visa to enter Costa Rica but do need a passport to enter. Make sure your passport is valid and up to date without expiring for at least 6 months past our retreat (June 2022). Covid guidelines make it difficult to get a passport in a short time, should your passport be expiring, please submit for a new one as soon as possible.

  • Group airport shuttles are to and from Liberia International Airport (LIR), please book your flights to this airport.

  • If you wish to travel to San Jose (SJO) instead you can! You’d take an additional Sansa Airlines flight to Nosara. Taxi to and from Nosara airport is not included, and it is around $40 each way.

  • We will email you as we get closer to our departure date to get food restrictions and special diets, along with your flight information to organize shuttles.

  • You may adjust your stay at Rayos should you need to arrive earlier or leave later. Please let us know if you’ll need extra nights.

COVID GUIDELINES

  • We will require you to have a negative Covid PCR test two days before the training.

TRAINING MATERIALS

  • As we get closer to the training, we will let you know which books to bring.

  • Bring your own writing materials such as pens, paper and a journal. You will hopefully reference this for the rest of your life, so keep that in mind when purchasing your notebooks and pens.

  • There will be mats and props onsite, but you are welcome to bring your own mat.

  • Please purchase therapeutic balls or tennis balls for the restorative portion of the training, and bring your favorite essential oils. We will have some as well.

  • All rooms are air conditioned and the entire property has electricity. Please bring your phone chargers and feel free to bring your laptop or tablet. CR uses our same electric outlet so there is no need to purchase a travel bundle.

  • For your comfort, please pack lots of SPF, light clothing, yoga clothing, a bathing suit, a hat, a pair of sneakers, bug repellant, and bring your own toiletries.

  • There is laundry available on site.

  • All meals are provided, as mentioned, but you are free to bring snacks. There is a bar on site and you will be able to purchase smoothies during the day and alcoholic drinks in the evening if you wish.

  • Download Whatsapp on your phones. Rayos del Sol has wifi, but it can be spotty at times, as it is in most of CR. Whatsapp is the easiest way to communicate.

  • Create two 1.5 hour yoga playlists and download them. One for restorative, and one for flow. Don't worry about making them perfect!

We are so excited to start this journey with you!  If you have any more questions, please do not hesitate to reach us!
