OUR STORY
The full version!
Co-Founders Patricia Pinto and Taryn Vander Hoop met in their first yoga teacher training in 2008 and after teaching in the industry for over a decade joined forces to create Lila Flow movement trainings.
We offer retreat-based immersive trainings and fully virtual self-paced trainings which makes going deeper into movement and meditation possible for those with busy schedules.
Our trainings include everything we wanted when we started teaching: intelligently creative sequencing and modifications for all populations, rich discussions on history and yoga philosophy informed by the most current research, and yoga for social justice and resources for yoga in action to live our practices.
Lila means “divine play” in Sanskrit and our strength as educators is to keep the playfulness in our approach, and convey the rich history and breath of yoga in a way that honors its cultural origins while finding relevance in modern day society.
Lila Flow movement trainings are designed to elicit knowledgeable, inspired and compassionate yoga and pilates teachers.
